One-way traffic (or one-way traffic) is traffic that moves in one direction. A one-way is a road that only facilitates one-way traffic or is designed to direct vehicles in one direction. One-way roads usually lead to higher traffic flow, as drivers may avoid facing oncoming traffic or turning into oncoming traffic.
Residents may not like one-way roads due to the roundabout required to reach a specific destination and the possibility of higher speeds adversely affecting pedestrian safety. Some studies even question the original motivation for one-way roads, as roundabouts undo the claimed higher speeds.
