ATN News is a 24/7 news TV channel in Bangladesh. It is a subsidiary of ATN Bangla, another satellite TV channel in Bangladesh.
ATN News aired its first test show on May 1, 2010 and officially aired on June 7, 2010. World-class TV journalist and media personality Mishuk Munye joined ATN News as CEO and Editor-in-Chief in November 2010. He worked in television until his death on August 13, 2011.
Prominent Bangladeshi journalist Abed Khan took over as CEO and Chief Editor in 2011; he remained in office until his resignation on 20 April 2013. Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman is currently the Chairman of ATN News, Sharker Firoz is the CEO and Advisor, and Munni Saha is the Head of ATN News.
