RT Documentary (RTD, literally "RTD") is a Russian documentary channel available in both English and Russian. It was initiated by then-President Dmitry Medvedev, who visited RT's studio in Moscow on 23 June 2011 and covered a wide range of topics to visit Russian culture and his studio in Russia. The channel shows from around the world at the same time from around the world.
The channel is available as a free channel on Eutelsat Hot Bird. The Russian government has not placed any legal restrictions on the worldwide distribution of the channel as live video streaming on the internet. The channel is streamed live from RT's main websites along with other RT video streams.
