Kellie Pickler Named Co-Host of FOX’s Knock Knock Live
Kellie Pickler has been announced as one of the co-hosts for the live FOX reality and game show Knock Knock Live. The series is produced by Simon Fuller’s XIX Entertainment in partnership with dick clark productions, with veteran host Ryan Seacrest leading the broadcast from a Los Angeles studio. Pickler joins a team of on-the-ground co-hosts who will travel to neighborhoods across America to surprise people with life-changing opportunities and prizes.
According to the network press materials, Knock Knock Live is positioned as a high-energy, emotional, live event series built around unexpected doorstep surprises. The show’s co-host lineup includes country star Kellie Pickler alongside actress and singer Adrienne Bailon, television personality Ross Mathews, host and recording artist Jordan “Shorty” Johnson, and TV and radio personality Chuey Martinez. While Seacrest manages the live studio broadcast, this traveling team will appear at homes and businesses to deliver prizes, unique experiences, and celebrity encounters.
The format sends a crew out to find compelling stories and deserving people, giving ordinary viewers the chance to win big or to meet major celebrities. The show promises an array of surprise moments—everything from prize packages and career opportunities to once-in-a-lifetime meetings with performers and public figures. Musical and celebrity guests reportedly slated to appear include the likes of David Beckham, Luke Bryan, Common, Florida Georgia Line, Mike Holmes, Lea Michele, and Meghan Trainor, among others. The series is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, July 21 (9:00–10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.
As a co-host, Pickler will help identify and surprise potential contestants who have compelling personal stories or who have been nominated by friends, family, or neighbors. Candidates can enter the process either by suggesting themselves or by being recommended by someone who feels they deserve recognition or help. According to available casting information, the show seeks heartfelt stories and real-life situations that can be transformed by unexpected assistance or opportunities.
For viewers and fans, the Knock Knock Live concept blends live television excitement with human-interest storytelling. The on-the-ground co-hosts are tasked with creating authentic, emotional moments while connecting people with prizes, experiences, and celebrity meet-and-greets. The combination of a live studio presence with remote surprise segments aims to capture genuine reactions and generate social buzz around the featured stories.
Outside of her role on Knock Knock Live, Kellie Pickler continues to expand her television and music career. The American Idol alum and Dancing with the Stars winner is also attached to a reality series for CMT, tentatively titled I Love Kellie Pickler. Produced by Ryan Seacrest, that project is described as a personal look at Pickler’s life with her husband, songwriter Kyle Jacobs, focusing on their relationship, daily routines, and behind-the-scenes moments as a married couple balancing careers in music and entertainment.
Pickler is also working on new country music material, preparing for her next album while balancing television commitments. Her simultaneous involvement in live network television and a proposed CMT reality series underscores a busy and multifaceted period in her career—combining music promotion, television hosting, and personal storytelling.
With Knock Knock Live, FOX aims to deliver a summer series that mixes surprise, spectacle, and genuine human drama, anchored by Ryan Seacrest in the studio and a traveling roster of co-hosts including Kellie Pickler who bring the action directly to people’s doorsteps. The show’s format highlights ordinary Americans and the ways a single, unexpected moment can create lasting change.
