The Voice Season 23 Playoffs unfolded differently than usual. Traditionally, the Playoffs have been aired live over a single night and marked the first time viewers could cast votes for their favorite contestants. For Season 23, however, the Playoffs were pre-recorded at the end of February. Despite the taping, spoiler updates have surfaced online revealing the Top 20 song selections and which eight artists advanced to the live semifinals. These spoilers detail the songs each contestant sang and identify the two artists from each coach’s team who moved forward to the next live round.

The Voice 23 Playoffs: Overview and Format

The format for this stage followed a familiar structure: the Top 20 contestants performed one team at a time. After each team’s five members completed their performances, the coach for that team chose two artists to advance to the semifinals. Because the Playoffs were taped this season, those coach decisions determined the Top 8 going into the live semifinal episode, where viewers will once again play a role in deciding who advances. Below are the reported performances and the coach picks that comprise the Season 23 Playoffs spoilers.
