Kelly Clarkson announces chemistry (deluxe) set out Sept. 22 plus TODAY show performance
Kelly Clarkson has announced a deluxe edition of her tenth studio album, chemistry, set for release on September 22 via Atlantic Records. The expanded 22-track collection adds five brand-new songs to the original record, along with remixes and other versions, and includes a special duet featuring her daughter, River Rose.
To mark the release, Clarkson will perform live from Rockefeller Plaza as part of the TODAY Show’s 2023 Citi Summer Concert Series on September 22. She follows that appearance with a performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on September 23. In addition, Clarkson is scheduled to appear at Audacy’s “We Can Survive” concert on October 14 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
A global pop star, Clarkson has sold more than 25 million albums and 40 million singles worldwide. She first rose to prominence in 2002 as the winner of the inaugural season of American Idol and has since become one of pop music’s most consistent hitmakers. Over the years she has topped Billboard charts across multiple formats, and she remains a defining voice in contemporary pop.
chemistry is Clarkson’s tenth studio album and her third full-length release with Atlantic Records, following 2017’s Meaning of Life and 2021’s When Christmas Comes Around… Beyond her recording career, Clarkson is also an accomplished television personality: her multi-Emmy Award-winning daytime talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, is preparing for a move to New York City for its upcoming fifth season and the program has already been picked up through 2025.
