On Week 5 of Dancing with the Stars season 32, the competition turns deeply personal. The remaining 10 celebrity-pro duos will each perform a routine inspired by the year that left the biggest mark on their lives — a night billed as “Most Memorable Year.” The episode will air Tuesday, Oct. 24 (8:00–10:01 p.m. EDT/PDT; 7:00–9:01 p.m. CDT) and will be simulcast live on both ABC and Disney+ in local time zones, with the episode available the next day on Hulu. This episode blends emotion with athleticism as competitors reveal the moments that shaped them through storytelling and dance.

Fan favorite former DWTS pros return to dance in an emotional tribute to former head judge, Len Goodman

This week’s show will also include a moving tribute to the late Len Goodman, the long-time head judge whose presence shaped Dancing with the Stars for many seasons. A number of beloved former professionals will return to the ballroom to join the current troupe, creating a special ensemble performance in his honor. The tribute will be set to the classic Henry Mancini composition “Moon River,” and will feature choreography by pros Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson. Joining the celebration are returning pros Kym Johnson, Anna Trebunskaya, Karina Smirnoff, Edyta Śliwińska, Tony Dovolani, Louis van Amstel, Maks Chmerkovskiy and Mark Ballas, performing alongside the current professionals as part of this honorary number.

The tribute promises to be both a showcase of technical skill and an emotional moment for the cast, judges and fans alike, celebrating Goodman’s legacy with elegant partnering, sweeping choreography and the signature theatricality the series is known for.

Viewers will play a direct role in the competition that night. Live voting will be available during the simulcast in the EDT/CDT time zones, and online voting will be open to fans across the U.S., its territories and Canada via dwtsvote.abc.com. U.S. viewers with participating wireless carriers can also vote via SMS/text (SMS voting is not available for Canadian fans). Those live viewer votes are combined with the judges’ scores to determine which couples may be at risk of elimination following the performances.
