Country star and The Voice coach Reba McEntire tapped to sing the National Anthem for Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas
Country music icon and longtime television coach Reba McEntire will perform the National Anthem at Super Bowl LVIII, set for Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The event will be broadcast nationally on CBS. Reba’s selection to open one of the biggest sporting events of the year highlights her enduring presence in both country music and mainstream entertainment.
A member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, Reba McEntire has enjoyed a career spanning decades and earned recognition across a wide array of industry awards, including honors from the ACM, CMA, American Music Awards, People’s Choice Awards, GRAMMY® Awards and the GMA Dove Awards. In addition to her recording and touring career, she recently served as a coach on Season 24 of The Voice and is set to return for Season 25 on NBC in March.
Reba’s appearance at the Super Bowl will join a lineup of notable musical performances and presentations that the NFL has curated for this year’s game. Her powerful vocal presence and storied career make her a natural choice to deliver the National Anthem on such a prominent stage.
Post Malone has been tapped to perform “America the Beautiful.” The multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated artist brings a diverse catalog of hits to the Super Bowl program, including several chart-topping and heavily certified singles that have helped define his career. His distinctive voice and broad appeal are expected to bring a contemporary interpretation to the pregame musical selections.
Also joining the musical roster is Grammy Award-nominated singer and actress Andra Day, who will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” Day rose to widespread recognition with her breakout recording “Rise Up,” and has since expanded her artistic footprint through acclaimed film work, including a celebrated turn in the feature film that earned her major awards attention. Her soulful delivery will add a poignant and dignified tone to this year’s Super Bowl observances.
Emmy Award-winning musical director and producer Adam Blackstone will oversee production for both the National Anthem and “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” bringing his experience in large-scale musical productions to the ceremony.
Dancing with the Stars alum Daniel Durant will perform the National Anthem in ASL

American Sign Language (ASL) interpretations will accompany the pregame and halftime show entertainment to ensure the performances are accessible to Deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences. Actor and advocate Daniel Durant, known for his role in the Academy Award-winning film CODA and for appearing on Dancing with the Stars in 2022, will perform the National Anthem in ASL on behalf of the National Association of the Deaf (NAD).
Supporting the ASL presentations, actress, model and dancer Anjel Piñero will sign “America the Beautiful,” while actor and choreographer Shaheem Sanchez will sign “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and will also perform the ASL rendition of the Super Bowl Halftime Show. These additions reflect a growing emphasis on inclusive presentation at large-scale live events.
The inclusion of ASL performers and dedicated production oversight underscores the NFL’s efforts to make the Super Bowl experience more welcoming and accessible to a wider audience. By presenting multiple interpreted performances alongside live vocalists, organizers are ensuring that the pageantry of the event reaches fans of diverse abilities.
Earlier announcements confirmed that R&B superstar and former The Voice coach Usher will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show. The production is being staged by DPS with Roc Nation and Jesse Collins as executive producers, and Hamish Hamilton and Shawn Carter serving in directorial roles. Together, the halftime show and pregame music lineup promise a blend of established artists and meaningful, inclusive elements that reflect both entertainment and cultural significance.
Allegiant Stadium, located in Las Vegas, will host the high-profile event. The venue’s modern facilities and experience staging major concerts and sporting events make it a fitting setting for the Super Bowl’s combination of athletic competition and large-scale live entertainment. With a roster of performers that spans country, hip-hop, R&B and soul, this year’s show aims to honor tradition while showcasing contemporary talent.
As preparations continue for Super Bowl LVIII, viewers can expect a carefully produced musical program that celebrates American music traditions, spotlights acclaimed performers, and provides meaningful accessibility through ASL interpretation and thoughtful production choices. Reba McEntire’s National Anthem performance will be one of the marquee moments leading into a game anticipated by sports fans and music audiences alike.
