Survivor Season 46 Week 6 Recap and Live Blog

This week’s episode of Survivor Season 46 brings the merge, shifting alliances, and a chaotic tribal council. Below is a full recap of tonight’s episode, covering the new dynamics on Nami beach, the immunity challenge, and the vote that sends one castaway home.

After Tribal Council, the Siga tribe returns to camp shaken. Moriah discovers she was left out of the vote; everyone else cast ballots against Jem, while Jem voted for Ben. Ben brushes the drama off, telling Moriah not to worry. Tim also tries to reassure her, but Moriah remains conflicted — hurt that her tribemates lied, yet reluctant to burn a bridge since she wasn’t the target.

The next morning the castaways learn the tribes are merging. Members of Yanu and Siga move to Nami beach, creating fresh opportunities and new threats. Tiffany is relieved to enter the merge alongside her closest allies. Tim expresses a desire to keep Siga’s numbers intact but acknowledges he might sacrifice Moriah. Moriah admits she’d rather align with the familiar “devil she knows” than face unknown opponents.

Getting to know you

As the merged tribe settles, Hunter receives a clue pointing him to a hidden immunity idol. He quietly searches under the steps by camp, retrieves a key, and extracts the idol from its box without drawing attention. Shortly afterward, the rest of the new arrivals appear on Nami beach, and the social game begins in earnest.

Castaways start sizing each other up. Tim publicly stresses the need to protect Siga’s numbers and claims the vote against Jem was unanimous, a detail intended to discourage anyone from recruiting Moriah. Venus, meanwhile, approaches Q to propose working with Yanu members — she’s tired of Tevin and Soda’s behavior and believes she could wield power. Tevin warns Q and Tiffany to keep an eye on Venus.

Back at the Journey reward from the previous episode, Q, Hunter, and Tim discussed forming a six-person alliance that included Tiffany, Tevin, and Maria — the so-called “Journey 6.” Q and Tevin are still on board, and Hunter and Tiffany are receptive, but doubts linger about Tim and Maria’s loyalty. When Q brings up the alliance with Maria, she’s surprised Tim had listed her as a close ally; in confessionals she reveals Charlie is actually her primary connection. Q realizes Maria wasn’t fully briefed, promising to clarify things with Tim later.

Venus also approaches Moriah and Tim looking for names, but both are guarded. Moriah, in confession, says she doesn’t trust Venus, finding her too calculating — a potential fissure in the new majority alliance.

Immunity challenge

Tension grows as the tribe prepares for the merge immunity challenge. Players will be split into two teams, work through obstacle sections, and complete a large puzzle; the first team to finish wins a merge meal and immunity, while everyone attends tribal council and votes. With an odd number of castaways, the person who draws the grey rock must sit out and bet on a team.

The teams are drawn:

Orange – Charlie, Maria, Moriah, Soda, Liz, and Venus

Purple – Hunter, Q, Tim, Tevin, Ben, and Kenzie

Tiffany draws the grey rock and places her bet on the Purple team, which appears physically stronger.

Challenge begins

The race starts competitively despite perceived imbalance. Orange takes an early lead, but Purple fights back and overtakes them midway. Both teams reach the puzzle section, where teamwork and speed become crucial. Kenzie and Ben struggle briefly, giving Orange a chance to close the gap. Ultimately Hunter and Q manage to place the final pieces for Purple, securing a hard-fought victory.

Hunter, Q, Tim, Tevin, Ben, Kenzie, and Tiffany win immunity, earning the merge meal and safety at tribal council. The victory reshuffles strategic priorities: three former Siga members and three former Nami members are now exposed.

At the reward meal, conversations turn to targets. Tevin singles out Venus as untrustworthy. Tim and Ben are hesitant to throw a Siga name into the mix, but under pressure Tim eventually mentions Moriah. Tiffany senses Tim and Ben’s reluctance to fracture Siga and leans toward voting Moriah out, seeing her as a bigger strategic threat than Venus.

Complicating the vote

When the immune players return to camp, they brief the rest on possible targets. Tim tells Charlie that Venus and Moriah are both being discussed. Hunter urges breaking up the Siga bloc, while Tiffany privately tells Venus she should vote for Moriah to save herself. Venus pushes back, suggesting Charlie is an easier, more logical vote — arguing a man should go. She courts Soda and Kenzie to support Charlie as the target.

Venus’s maneuvering frustrates Q, who sees her as protecting the women’s numbers. Q decides he will vote for Venus, and Tevin agrees it’s time to get rid of her. Kenzie laments that the vote could have been straightforward had Venus accepted the plan to target Moriah. Hunter and Tiffany still plan on Moriah, but the split in intentions makes the night unpredictable. Tiffany, relieved to have immunity, expects chaos at tribal council.

Tribal council

At tribal council the tension is palpable. Tevin acknowledges his temporary safety but warns he’s watching how tonight’s decisions will affect him later. Q notes he’s feeling out the situation to see how alliances shift. Charlie plays defense, while Venus emphasizes the value she brings. Hunter bluntly states that the former Yanu players could determine who loses a number from the merged group.

Moriah reveals she was on the outs of the previous vote and claims she’s been on the bottom, offering that Yanu can decide how to use that information. Q counters that this is the first time he’s heard of her vulnerability and that this should have been shared earlier. Tim notes that those who attended the merge meal had agreed on a name. Venus says she’s heard whispers that she’s the target and asks the group to acknowledge her contributions. After final statements, it’s time to vote.

Before the votes are read, Moriah plays her Shot in the Dark advantage. Her scroll reads: “Not Safe.”

The votes are read aloud:

Venus

Moriah

Moriah

Moriah

Moriah

Moriah

Moriah

Moriah is the sixth person voted out of Survivor Season 46. Her exit marks a pivotal moment as the merged tribe begins to realign and set new targets.

That concludes tonight’s episode recap. The merge has reshuffled alliances and created a volatile path forward — come back next week for another detailed live recap of Survivor Season 46.
