NBC reveals America’s Got Talent 2024 finale date and premiere dates for The Voice season 26
NBC has announced its fall Premiere Week schedule, confirming that the 2024–25 broadcast season will kick off Monday, September 23. The network’s lineup opens with a two-hour debut of the singing competition series The Voice, marking the start of Season 26 and featuring a refreshed coaching panel.
For Season 26, The Voice welcomes first-time coaches Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé, who join returning mentors Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani. The new mix of coaches promises fresh energy and diverse musical perspectives as the series begins its fall run.
Premiere Week continues on Tuesday, Sept. 24 with the season finale of America’s Got Talent, providing a high-profile showcase and a dramatic cap to the night. NBC is positioning these tentpole shows to anchor its launch into the new television season.
In addition to the network’s flagship competitions, NBC will broadcast the second annual People’s Choice Country Awards live on Thursday, Sept. 26 on both NBC and Peacock. The awards night celebrates current country music stars and adds another high-profile event to the week’s schedule.
Following Premiere Week, The Voice moves to a Tuesday slot beginning Oct. 1. The Oct. 1 broadcast will be a special two-hour edition; thereafter, the Tuesday episodes return to a one-hour format at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. At 8:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, NBC will air its new comedies St. Denis Medical and Night Court, helping to build a stronger comedy block earlier in the evening.
NBC’s comedy slate will continue expanding into the fall with the premiere of Happy’s Place, starring Reba McEntire. That series debuts on Friday, Oct. 18 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT, paired with the returning sitcom Lopez vs. Lopez later in the hour.
