Under the new rules for Season 19, four Golden Buzzer acts are guaranteed a direct path to the finale — one chosen by each judge. With the Golden Buzzers locked in, the remaining contestants rely on audience voting to secure one of the three semi-final slots available from each qualifiers episode. The stakes are higher than ever as performers compete not only to impress the judges but to win viewers’ votes.
Heidi Klum used her Golden Buzzer on soul singer Dee Dee Simon, sending her straight to the finale. That left ten acts from the night’s lineup still in contention for three semi-final positions. Tuesday’s show included two Golden Buzzer alumni from auditions: comedian Learnmore Jonasi, who earned Terry Crews’ Golden Buzzer during auditions, and vocalist Reid Wilson, who received Howie Mandel’s Golden Buzzer earlier in the season. Additional performers that night included the revamped Latin boy band Menudo, young singer Journeyy, and country group The Reklaws, among others. Each act brought its own energy, style, and fanbase to the competition.
