This season feels wide open. With many acts appearing only two or three times before the finale, it’s harder to spot a definitive frontrunner than in seasons where performers return more often. Still, some contestants stand out for originality, viral traction and stage presence. Below is my ranking of the Top 10 finalists based on a mix of online engagement and instinct about what plays well on TV.
How would you rank the America’s Got Talent 2024 season 19 finalists? Read on for a ranked breakdown of the acts and what each one brings to the finale.
AMERICA’S GOT TALENT 2024 SEASON 19 FINALISTS RANKED
This list considers YouTube views, audience reaction, uniqueness and television suitability. The AGT finale performance episode airs on NBC on Tuesday, September 17 at 8 pm ET/PT, with streaming on Peacock the following day.
10. Sebastian & Sonia – Aerial act – Simon Cowell Live Golden Buzzer

Simon selected this duo as his live Golden Buzzer after Sonia suffered an injury in rehearsal that forced Sebastian to perform solo at times. Viewers have only seen the pair perform together once on the show. Their audition was polished but didn’t feel markedly different from other acrobatic couples who have competed in past seasons. The emotional backstory gives them drama, but it may not be enough to carry them deep into the competition.
9. Dee Dee Simon – Singer – Heidi Klum Live Golden Buzzer

Dee Dee, who previously worked as a prison guard, brings a highly polished vocal style to the stage. Her technique and tone are impressive, suggesting experience beyond an amateur performer. However, her classic, old-school approach may not move modern viewers in the same way as more distinctive or emotionally raw acts. Heidi’s live Golden Buzzer pick showcased talent, but it’s uncertain whether it will translate into a deep run.
8. Sky Elements – Drone act – Simon audition Golden Buzzer

Sky Elements creates drone shows that combine intricate visuals with emotional storytelling. Their live performances are undoubtedly impressive in person, but drone acts often lose power on television because the audience and judges typically watch a taped presentation inside the theater. For that reason, this group may struggle to break into the Top 5 despite strong production value.
7. Brent Street – Dance group – Howie audition Golden Buzzer

Brent Street delivers sharp, creative choreography with tight synchronization and bold staging. Their routines are technically strong and visually engaging, but the field this year includes several acts with unique hooks or viral appeal that may edge them out in public voting.
6. Hakuna Matata Acrobats – (Sofia Vergara Live Golden Buzzer)

Hakuna Matata are among the better rolla bolla (balance) acts to appear on AGT, stacking multiple rollers while performing head balances and daring transitions. Their feats are thrilling and crowd-pleasing. In a different season they might easily make the Top 5, but this year’s lineup includes several unique or emotionally resonant acts that may outshine them in the final vote.
5. Learnmore Jonasi – Comedian – Terry audition Golden Buzzer

Learnmore is a warmly likable comedian whose joyful delivery and relatability set him apart from other finalists. His material blends humor with heartfelt ambition, and Howie Mandel has championed him as a potential breakthrough comic. While a comedian hasn’t won AGT in recent seasons, Learnmore’s charm and consistent crowd response make him a strong contender for the Top 5.
4. Roni Sagi & Rhythm – Dog act

Dog acts have a long history of connecting with audiences, and Roni and her dog Rhythm offer inventive dance routines that feel fresh and delightful. Their chemistry and the sheer charm of Rhythm make them a crowd favorite. While dog acts have come close in past seasons, they’ve only won twice; still, this pair could finish near the top thanks to broad family appeal.
3. Solange Kardinaly – Quick change magic

Solange combines quick-change theatrics with sleight-of-hand magic, creating a hybrid act that’s fast, flashy and highly watchable. Her audition routine took years to perfect and generated significant online interest. The main question heading into the finale is whether she can present something new and bigger to top her audition. Fans have embraced her, and strong visual magic often performs well in viewer voting.
2. AIRFOOTWORKS – Dance group – (Howie Mandel Live Golden Buzzer)

AIRFOOTWORKS offers seamless, fluid routines that merge dance and acrobatics with inventive prop use, atmospheric lighting and evocative music. Their performances are elegant and emotionally resonant, giving them the kind of polished presentation that can win over both judges and the voting public. They’re a genuine threat to win, provided their finale routine matches or exceeds their earlier showcases.
1. Richard Goodall – Singer – Heidi audition Golden Buzzer

Richard Goodall, the singing janitor whose story and powerful voice resonated with millions, tops this ranking. His take on Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” went viral with over 24 million views on YouTube, and subsequent performances continued to draw strong viewership. Richard’s emotional underdog story, paired with his ability to belt dramatic power ballads, gives him broad audience appeal. The remaining question is whether production will enhance his stage presentation for the finale to maximize his impact with voters.
This ranking reflects a mix of talent, television suitability and viral momentum. The finale on September 17 will reveal which acts deliver the most compelling performances under pressure, and the Grand Finale on September 24 will determine the winner. Tune in and decide for yourself—which finalist deserves the crown?
