Survivor 47: Meet the 18 castaways competing for the $1 million prize
Survivor returns with its 47th season, introducing 18 new castaways who will compete for the title of Sole Survivor and the $1 million prize. The season premieres with a special two-hour episode on Wednesday, Sept. 18 (8:00–10:00 PM ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 25, the series will continue in a 90-minute weekly format at 8:00 PM.
Host Jeff Probst returns to guide a twist-packed season filmed on the scenic islands of Fiji. The players arrive as three tribes of six and will face strategic challenges, survival tests and social maneuvering from the moment they hit the beach. This season’s cast is diverse in age, background and profession, featuring competitors such as a flight school owner, an ER doctor and an AI research assistant. Also among the contestants is Pod Save America co-host and former Obama speechwriter Jon Lovett, who enters Survivor’s unique political arena of alliances and strategy.
