Survivor 47 Recap: Tuku and Gata Secure Immunity, Aysha Voted Out After Rome Plays Idol

A new episode of Survivor 47 airs tonight on CBS. Here’s a live recap of the episode’s key moments, strategy shifts, and the tribal council that sent Aysha home.

The episode opens at Tuku after tribal council where TK was blindsided. Kyle, who was left out of the plan, is worried about his standing in the tribe. Gabe played a hidden immunity idol despite not needing it at the vote; after recent seasons of blindsides with idols, Gabe didn’t want to risk being caught off guard. Caroline and Sue celebrate the successful blindside of TK, while Sue remains upset that Kyle cast a vote against her and vows revenge.

Over on Gata, the tribe’s shelter is falling apart and sleep is poor. The tribe agrees to prioritize repairs the next morning, though Sam would prefer using the fishing kit to secure food. Sam grows frustrated with Anika’s assertive leadership, and Andy notices the friction between them. Andy believes the rift between Sam and Anika could open an opportunity for him to improve his game.

On Lavo, Rome continues to rub people the wrong way. He’s monopolized the fishing gear and insists he’s carrying the workload, even eating two of the four fish he caught. His attitude irks other tribe members and creates tension.

Back at Gata, Andy works to solidify a majority alliance with Sam and Sierra. To build trust, he offers Sierra his Shot in the Dark advantage. Sierra is surprised by the gesture and admits in her confessional that the offer increases her willingness to trust him.

At Tuku, Gabe pushes to keep Kyle around, arguing that Kyle will remain loyal to the tribe. Gabe suggests targeting Tiyana next and treats Sue and Caroline as a package deal. Kyle, however, balks at the idea of voting Tiyana out and confronts Sue and Caroline, betraying Gabe by revealing that Gabe called them his “goats.” Sue, still resentful over Kyle’s vote against her, refuses to align with him and labels him desperate.

A single boat soon arrives at each tribe to take one castaway on a Journey for an advantage. Tuku draws rocks and Kyle is chosen to go. Anika volunteers from Gata, irritating Sam since Anika is his target. Lavo decides with rock-paper-scissors and Rome is selected, much to Aysha’s concern because Rome already possesses an idol.

Kyle, Anika, and Rome meet and swap gossip about their tribes before facing a draw with high stakes: a one-third chance to win an advantage versus a two-thirds chance to lose their vote. If they don’t pick the advantage on the first draw, they may draw once more for a 50/50 chance between the advantage and losing their vote for two tribal councils. Kyle and Anika both lose their votes and opt not to draw again. Rome, however, wins the Steal-a-Vote advantage, giving him the power to steal another player’s vote at an upcoming tribal council.

When the trio return to camp, honesty and deception spread through the tribes. Kyle tells the truth about losing his vote. Anika initially lies about risking her vote but later confides in Sierra and Rachel. Rome lies to the group, claiming he lost his vote; later he admits the truth to Teeny, Genevieve, and Kishan. Rome’s goals include destabilizing Aysha and Sol. Teeny, despite wanting Rome out, feels compelled to work with him because he holds both an idol and an advantage.

Immunity challenge time: contestants must climb a tall tower, jump into the ocean, cross a balance beam, collect keys from buoys, and assemble a puzzle. The first two tribes to complete the puzzle win immunity and improved camp supplies. Kyle gives Tuku an early lead, while Gata struggles initially because Andy stumbles on the balance beam. Sam and Anika manage to close the gap, but Aysha and Kishan slow Lavo down on the beam, leaving Lavo in last. As Tuku and Gata race ahead, Lavo can’t catch up. Gata ultimately wins immunity, followed by Tuku; Lavo loses and heads to tribal council.

Back at Lavo camp, Aysha pushes to target Genevieve because Rome likely has idol protection. Teeny feels squeezed between working with Rome and protecting Aysha. Rome privately tells Teeny he plans to vote Aysha out, but Teeny steers him toward targeting Sol, arguing Sol is more likely to find an idol. Rome agrees and continues to lie about his vote and the status of his own advantages as he manipulates conversations with Sol and others.

Kishan and Teeny eventually inform Aysha of the plan to vote for Sol in order to save her. They also reveal that Rome claimed to have found a hidden immunity idol, suggesting he might play it for himself or for Genevieve. Aysha insists they should vote Genevieve instead, but her reluctance to pivot raises doubts for Kishan and Teeny about whether they can keep working with her.

At tribal council, Jeff Probst asks the tribe what they hope for moving forward. Genevieve emphasizes the emotional weight of voting someone out but expresses hope for a cohesive final five. Sol admits to feeling uneasy and out of the loop. Rome warns about paranoia and overthinking. Aysha stresses that plans can change and wonders what conversations she has missed. Tension rises as Aysha and Sol exchange meaningful looks, realizing they may be outside the target conversation.

Before the votes are read, Rome plays his hidden immunity idol for himself. The votes are cast and revealed as follows: Rome, Genevieve, Sol, Aysha, Aysha, Aysha. Aysha is the third person voted out of Survivor 47. Hurt and surprised, she points to Kishan and Teeny and says, “That hurts,” and asks Sol if he was part of the plan; Sol confirms he was not.

That concludes tonight’s episode of Survivor 47. The vote underscored how idols and advantages continue to shape strategy, while shifting alliances and misdirection remain central to gameplay. Check back next week for another live recap and updates from the island.
