The Voice 27 Schedule plus HOW the season will work
The Voice 27 returns with a revised timetable and a familiar group of coaches. This winter cycle began earlier than usual — premiering on February 3 — and shifts some of its regular weekly slots to later in the season. Below is a clear guide to how this season is structured, who sits in the chairs, and what viewers can expect as the competition moves from Blind Auditions to the Live Finale.
Coaches and host: Adam Levine rejoins the coaching panel after an extended break. He is joined by veteran coach John Legend and returning coach Michael Bublé, who is back for a second season. Kelsea Ballerini, who previously sat in as a coach for a digital version of the show, also takes a seat. Carson Daly returns as the series host.
Blind Auditions
The Voice 27 opens with five consecutive weeks of Blind Auditions, airing on Monday nights. During this phase each coach builds a team of 12 artists, producing a Top 48 that advances to the Battle Rounds. Coaches listen with their chairs turned; if a coach presses their button, the artist joins that coach’s team. This season’s extended audition block gives viewers more time to discover new talent and for coaches to make strategic team choices.
Battle Rounds
In the Battle Rounds coaches pair two team members for duet-style performances. After each duet, the coach chooses one artist to advance. Each coach has one steal and one save available during the Battles, providing a second chance for standout artists to remain in the competition. After Battles conclude, eight artists per team — a Top 32 — move forward to the Knockouts.
Knockouts and Playoffs
The Knockouts on this spring cycle return to paired matchups (four pairs per team), after the previous season experimented with trios. Each performer selects their own song and performs directly for their coach. From each pair the coach chooses one winner; each coach also has one steal available. From the Knockouts, five singers per team advance to the Playoffs, creating a Top 20.
During the Playoffs, artists perform solo and coaches select two team members to move on to the Live Shows. These live rounds feature audience voting and a combination of coach saves that influence which artists reach the semifinals and finale.
Note on scheduling: The season includes a mix of new episodes and repeat broadcasts. Early Knockouts episodes include one-hour installments and repeat airings. Viewers should expect occasional recap episodes and repeat presentations on Tuesday nights adjacent to the Monday premieres.
Mentors: Several episodes list guest mentors who work with specific teams. According to episode listings, LeAnn Rimes and Sheryl Crow appear as mentors for various teams during the Playoffs, helping artists refine arrangements and stage presence before crucial performances.
The schedule below reflects the announced plan for The Voice 27. It outlines premieres, repeat broadcasts, and live shows through the finale. As with all broadcast schedules, dates and times are subject to change; fans should check local listings and network updates for any last-minute adjustments.
