Simon Cowell used his Golden Buzzer to send viral singer Micah Palace straight to the final. With Micah already guaranteed a spot, the public vote will determine the three additional acts who move forward from the remaining performers.
Quarterfinals Week 3 also featured two Golden Buzzer acts from earlier in the season: Messoudi Brothers, the juggling troupe backed by Mel B., and Jessica Sanchez, who received a Golden Buzzer from Sofia Vergara. Jessica is well known to television audiences from American Idol season 11, where she finished second, and from an appearance on AGT as a child. According to the broadcast coverage that night, Jessica was eight months pregnant during this phase of the competition.
