Dancing with the Stars 2025: Season 34 Week 11 Finale dance styles and song choices
The Dancing with the Stars Season 34 finale features the five remaining celebrity-professional pairs competing for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. Each finalist will perform three routines: a Judges’ Choice, an Instant Dance, and a Freestyle — giving viewers a final look at their range, technique and storytelling on the ballroom floor. The live season finale airs on TUESDAY, NOV. 25 (8:00–11:00 p.m. EST/PST, 7:00–10:00 p.m. CST), simulcast across ABC and Disney+ in local time zones, with the episode available next day on Hulu. The event is staged before a live audience and produced by BBC Studios.
The broadcast opens with a group number to “Never Can Say Goodbye” by The Communards, choreographed by Joey Pizzi, followed by a series of return-to-the-ballroom performances. All season couples join additional group dances to songs including “Sugar on My Tongue” by Tyler, The Creator, “Applause” by Lady Gaga, and “I Don’t Dance” by Alexander Jean. Professional dancers from the DWTS LIVE 2026 Tour also appear, performing to “Sapphire” by Ed Sheeran (choreography by Mandy Moore), alongside other troupe and pro showcases to tracks by Charli XCX & Troye Sivan and Taylor Swift. Season 33 champions Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson make a special return with a routine set to “Tanguera” by Fabio Hager Sexteto.
How to vote
Voting is open to viewers during the live simulcast in the ET/CT time zones. During that window, fans across U.S. time zones, U.S. territories and Canada can vote online at dwtsvote.abc.com. Participating U.S. wireless carriers also offer SMS/text voting (note: SMS/text voting is not available in Canada). Live viewer votes are combined with the judges’ scores from the night to determine the Mirrorball winner, so audience participation has a direct impact on which couple takes home the trophy.
Three rounds of competition, including “Instant Dance Challenge”
The finale’s three-round format puts the finalists through different tests of preparation and spontaneity. In the Judges’ Choice round, the judges assign or select a dance style for each couple and provide coaching to refine their technique and presentation. The Instant Dance Challenge is the ultimate improvisation test: couples learn the song and specific dance style only minutes before taking the floor and must perform live with no additional choreography time. The final Freestyle round is an open-ended showcase where competitors blend styles, lifts and theatrical moments to deliver a show-stopping routine aimed at scoring both judges and viewers.
