Dancing with the Stars 32 Spoilers: Latin Night dance styles and song choices
Thirteen remaining celebrity-professional partnerships bring high energy and passion to the ballroom for “Latin Night,” a themed episode celebrating Latin music and dance culture. The episode airs TUESDAY, OCT. 3 (8:00–10:01 p.m. EDT/PDT, 7:00–9:01 p.m. CDT), and is simulcast live across ABC and Disney+ in local time zones, with the episode available the following day on Hulu.
The evening opens with a specially choreographed group number set to “DESPECHÁ” by ROSALÍA, created by professional dancers Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov. Throughout the night, each couple performs one of the classic Latin ballroom and social dance styles — Cha Cha, Rumba, Salsa, Samba or Tango — chosen to highlight the artists and rhythms that define Latin music.
Latin Night is designed to showcase the variety within Latin music and dance: the sharp, syncopated footwork of the Cha Cha, the romantic and expressive lines of the Rumba, the sultry partnered turns of the Salsa, the bouncy, carnival-driven momentum of the Samba, and the dramatic, controlled intensity of the Tango. Judges score each routine based on technique, performance and musicality, and those scores are combined with live viewer votes to shape the competition’s results.
