NBC 2023-24 lineup includes The Voice 24, and America’s Got Talent spinoff midseason
NBC has unveiled its fall entertainment lineup for the 2023–24 season, confirming that The Voice returns for season 24 and revealing that an untitled America’s Got Talent spinoff will join the schedule midseason in 2024. The network also plans to introduce three new scripted series in the fall and will continue to offer next-day streaming of its entertainment programs on Peacock.
The long-running singing competition The Voice will air in a two-night block on Mondays and Tuesdays. While the full coaching panel for season 24 has not been announced, the series faces notable changes: country superstar Blake Shelton will not return after 23 seasons, leaving an open slot that many expect could invite a new country artist or a different direction for that chair. Meanwhile, Kelly Clarkson has relocated her daytime talk show to New York, which has raised questions about her ability to remain on the panel. Traditionally, The Voice records its Blind Auditions during the summer ahead of the fall broadcast schedule.
NBC will bring an America’s Got Talent spinoff back to the air midseason, but details about the format and title are still pending. In recent years the network has favored winter “all-star” variations that gather notable past contestants and standout acts, though there have been exceptions. For example, in 2021 a special “extreme” edition spotlighted dangerous, high-risk performances and resulted in a serious on-set incident that underscored the challenges of staging such stunts safely. NBC has not confirmed whether the upcoming spinoff will follow the all-star model, adopt a new theme, or expand the AGT brand in another direction.
Alongside these unscripted properties, NBC will debut three new series in the fall: drama series The Irrational and Found, and the multicamera comedy Extended Family. All three series will be part of NBC’s broadcast schedule and will be available to stream on Peacock the day after they air on NBC. This next-day streaming strategy keeps the network’s content accessible to viewers who prefer on-demand viewing while maintaining the traditional broadcast premieres.

As NBC moves into the 2023–24 season, the network is balancing legacy shows with new series premieres and a continued emphasis on cross-platform availability via Peacock. Viewers can expect more details about casting, premiere dates, and the AGT spinoff format as NBC releases additional information in the coming weeks and months.
