New Year’s Eve 2024 on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN — Who’s performing and how to watch
If you plan to welcome 2024 in front of the television, the major networks have several live options. Each broadcast offers distinct hosts, musical performances, and coverage across time zones. Below is a clear guide to what to expect on ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN tonight and where to watch each special.
Sunday scheduling: NFL on NBC replaces the network’s usual New Year’s special
Because New Year’s Eve falls on a Sunday this year, NBC will air Sunday Night Football instead of its usual late-night New Year’s Eve special. In recent years NBC has produced its own live music event, but the network gives priority to its regular NFL programming when schedules conflict.
