Survivor Season 47: Week 3 Recap and Live Updates

Survivor 47 Recap: Lavo Falls to Tribal Council, Kishan Voted Out

A new episode of Survivor 47 airs tonight on CBS. Below is a live recap of the episode, covering the immunity challenge, the Journey twist, and the tribal council that sent Kishan home.

After last night’s tribal, Lavo returns to camp following the elimination of Aysha. Sol is blindsided and visibly aware that he sits near the bottom of the tribe’s pecking order. Teeny approaches him to apologize for casting a vote against him, promising to explain her reasoning later. She admits she couldn’t vote for Aysha because of a personal connection. In her confessional, Teeny acknowledges she still needs to learn how to balance strategy with personal relationships. Rome, meanwhile, says tribal council played out exactly as he planned and expresses confidence that Sol will be next off the Lavo tribe.

The next morning on Gata, Sam and Sierra assess their precarious position in the middle of the tribe. They can continue working with Anika and Rachel, or consider flipping to bring Andy into a different majority. Sierra worries others see the two of them as a unit — rumors from the Journey suggested a potential showmance — but both insist they are engaged back home and deny any romantic storyline. Later, Sierra, Anika, and Rachel form a women’s alliance, christening themselves the Breadwinners and identifying as the powerhouse group within Gata.

On Tuku, Gabe feels secure after aligning early with Sue, a move he intended to pursue because he targeted an older ally. Sue confesses in her diary that the other players underestimate her; she’s been downplaying her age and not revealing that she’s a pilot. Sue later discovers a Beware advantage: chopping a vine releases a hidden immunity idol. When the idol falls, a splatter of red paint covers the ground and Sue’s chin and arms. She quickly tries to hide the paint, but when Tiyana and Caroline stumble on the scene the marks look suspiciously like blood. Sue scrambles to explain, but Tiyana remains wary.

Back at Lavo, Rome aggressively tries to prevent Sol from searching for idols, shadowing him constantly and even demanding Sol surrender his Shot in the Dark. Kishan enjoys the discord; he believes the conflict benefits him. Sol finally finds a moment with Genevieve to vent about Rome’s behavior, and Genevieve wants to nurture a relationship with Sol as Rome continues to rile the tribe.

At Gata, Andy loses his Shot in the Dark early and hopes to remain in the game socially. Sierra questions whether Andy is a reliable partner — calling him a sloppy player — but still tries to build a bridge, even sharing the Breadwinners’ name. After Andy later recovers his lost Shot in the Dark, he tells Sam about Sierra’s disclosure, and Sam is annoyed she didn’t tell him first. The conversation between Sam and Sierra becomes tense and defensive; Sierra jokes in confessional that their partnership may need “alliance counseling.”

Immunity Challenge: Hens and Eggs on the Line

The immunity challenge tests speed, coordination, and puzzle-solving. Tribes roll a metal cube, retrieve bags, then build a frame from pieces inside the bags and toss sandbags through the frames. Next, players dig up keys to assemble a fire puzzle. The winning tribe earns three hens, and the runner-up receives six eggs.

Lavo grabs an early lead, largely thanks to Sol’s accuracy with the sandbags, but later stalls at the puzzle. Gata and Tuku catch up and surge ahead. Rome struggles and refuses to switch out, leaving Lavo hampered while the other two tribes finish. Gata secures first place and wins immunity. Tuku finishes second, claiming the runner-up prize. That result seals Lavo’s fate: they will attend tribal council tonight.

Along with the immunity outcome, the Journey returns as a twist. Gata must decide who goes: they send Andy, Teeny, and Caroline. At the Journey, the trio faces a significant choice — one person must give up their vote, or all three will lose their votes at the next tribal council. Teeny volunteers to sacrifice her vote so the others retain theirs. In exchange, the trio receives an amulet that functions as a shared hidden immunity idol; it acts as a full idol if two of the three members are removed from the game. They pledge to protect one another.

Upon returning to camp, all three tell their tribes the truth about the amulet, and Teeny discloses she has lost her vote. Meanwhile, back on Lavo, Rome plots to strong-arm Sol into giving over his Shot in the Dark and even threatens to use his Steal-a-Vote advantage. Kishan, sensing Rome’s overbearing control, quietly plots a counter-move with Genevieve: if Teeny’s vote is out, they believe they still have the numbers to target Rome instead of Sol.

Tribal Council and the Vote

At tribal council, tensions run high. Rome admits his poor performance in the challenge. Sol confronts the group about the chaos and calls out Rome for threatening him with the Steal-a-Vote advantage; Sol is clear he will not relinquish his Shot in the Dark. Rome apologizes for his approach, and Teeny expresses hope that her trust in others will be rewarded. Genevieve stresses that this vote is pivotal to her game, and Kishan urges the tribe to honor their conversations and plans.

Just before voting, Rome uses his Steal-a-Vote advantage and takes Kishan’s vote, leaving Kishan, Teeny, and Sol visibly shocked. When the votes are read, Kishan receives the majority.

Kishan becomes the fourth person voted out of Survivor 47. Before his torch is snuffed, he tells Genevieve he trusted her. Teeny asks Genevieve why she played that way, and Genevieve promises to explain later.

That concludes tonight’s episode of Survivor 47. The next installment will continue to follow shifting alliances, hidden advantages, and the fallout from this pivotal tribal council. Thanks for reading the recap — check back next week for a new episode breakdown.
