The episode opened with teams gathered to cast their U-Turn votes. The vote revealed that Steve & Anna Leigh received the most votes and would face the U-Turn, forcing them to complete both Detour tasks this leg.
Steve & Anna Leigh left first and were sent to a shoe store to retrieve their next clue. A taxi mishap dropped them off at the wrong location, forcing them to backtrack on foot before reaching the clue box. Their next instruction sent them to Hawa Mahal, and then to a rickshaw station where teams had to move rickshaws to create a clear path for their driver.
With the U-Turn confirmed, the Detour options were revealed: Bundles or Bricks. Bundles required teams to collect a variety of flowers and deliver them to two different temples, then return a receipt to a flower vendor. Bricks required teams to load bricks, sand, and gravel, transport them to a construction site, and bring a supplier receipt back to the clue box. As the U-Turned team, Steve & Anna Leigh chose to tackle Bundles first before attempting Bricks.
Other teams spread out across the tasks. Greg & John and Joel & Garrett opted for Bricks while Andrea & Malaina and later Morgan & Lena selected Bundles. Rob & Corey and Todd & Ashlie also chose Bricks. Liam & Yeremi struggled with navigation early and fell behind, eventually choosing Bundles after finding the clue box.
Steve & Anna Leigh completed their Bundles Detour quickly, but they missed handing in the receipt to the flower vendor, costing them extra time when they had to return. Teams working on Bricks faced physical strain as they pedaled heavily loaded carts through busy streets. Joel & Garrett in particular looked exhausted until they paused for water. At the Bundles sites, Morgan and Lena had a tense moment during bundle-tying when Morgan felt Lena was too impatient while she watched a demonstration.
John & Greg were the first to finish Bricks and moved on to Garg Textile Wholesale Fabric Shop. From there they were routed to Jaipur Mahal and then to the Roadblock at Badi Chaupar. The Roadblock required contestants to perform block printing: producing nine acceptable peacock prints. A local judge inspected each print and marked inadequate ones with a red X, forcing contestants to try again until they completed nine acceptable impressions.
The Roadblock proved time-consuming for many teams. Greg and John tackled it early and completed it well enough to reach the Pit Stop first, where Phil Keoghan awaited. John & Greg finished in 1st place and won the prize for the leg, a trip to New Zealand. Following them, Rob & Corey and Joel & Garrett arrived and checked in as 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
Throughout the remainder of the leg, teams continued to battle the Roadblock’s exacting standards. Several teams accumulated red Xs and had to reprint multiple times before meeting the judge’s approval. Andrea & Malaina, Todd & Ashlie, Steve & Anna Leigh, Morgan & Lena, Robbin & Chelsea, and others all worked through the task with varying degrees of difficulty and frustration.
Robbin & Chelsea struggled at the Roadblock but managed to finish before Liam & Yeremi. When Liam & Yeremi finally arrived at the Pit Stop after completing both Detours and the Roadblock, Phil delivered the elimination message: Liam & Yeremi were the last team and were eliminated from The Amazing Race 35.
