NBC reveals The Voice season 26 fall coaching panel

The Voice has announced its coaching lineup for season 26. The show will return this fall with new additions Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé joining returning coaches Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani.

The announcement came during NBC’s upfront presentation for advertisers at Radio City Music Hall in New York on Monday, May 13. The refreshed panel blends veteran coaching experience with fresh perspectives from two high-profile music stars who bring distinct styles and industry knowledge to the competition.

Michael Bublé joins the panel as a celebrated vocalist and performer whose career spans decades. A multi-Grammy winner and a fixture on international stages, Bublé brings classic vocal technique, showmanship, and a deep understanding of arranging and interpreting standards and contemporary songs. He previously appeared on The Voice as an advisor in season 3, and his return as a coach adds vocal expertise and mentorship that should benefit contestants who favor traditional pop, jazz-influenced material, and strong live performance skills.

Snoop Dogg brings a different energy as he transitions from his role as mentor and entertainment personality to a full coaching position. Known for his long career in hip-hop and his wide-ranging work across music, television, and sports, Snoop offers contestants insight into performance presence, genre-blending, and industry navigation. He previously served as a mega mentor in season 20 and co-hosted a version of a national song competition, giving him a unique perspective on coaching artists across styles and stages.

Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani return to their red chairs for another season. Reba, now entering her third consecutive season as a coach, brings decades of country music experience, storytelling ability, and a track record of developing artists’ stagecraft and emotional authenticity. Gwen Stefani, an eight-season veteran coach, contributes pop sensibility, songwriting insight, and a creative approach to arranging performances that help contestants stand out on a televised stage.

Together, this four-person panel offers a broad stylistic range: classic vocalism and swing from Michael Bublé, hip-hop and cultural savvy from Snoop Dogg, country storytelling and industry longevity from Reba McEntire, and pop production and artistry from Gwen Stefani. This mix should create dynamic mentor-mentee relationships and varied musical pairings that benefit viewers and competitors alike.

Notably absent from season 26’s coaching lineup is longtime coach John Legend, who had appeared on the show for multiple seasons beginning with season 16 in 2019. His absence this season marks a change in the roster of familiar faces, making room for the newly announced additions and creating fresh chemistry among the remaining coaches.

The Voice season 26 will begin filming soon

Production for new seasons of The Voice traditionally begins in the summer, and last year NBC filmed two seasons back-to-back, concluding both in early October. Season 26 is expected to follow a similar production timeline, with more filming and scheduling details to be announced by the network.

As season 26 preparations ramp up, season 25 continues on air. The current season’s live shows include intense competition nights, and the forthcoming semi-final features the Top Nine artists performing songs dedicated to their hometowns as they compete for the final spots in the season finale. Season 25’s coaching panel includes Reba McEntire, Chance the Rapper, John Legend, and the double-chair duo Dan + Shay.

With this newly announced coach lineup and a mix of veteran and fresh perspectives, season 26 promises compelling mentorship, diverse musical approaches, and strong live performances. Fans can expect the familiar excitement of blind auditions, knockout rounds, and live shows, now guided by a quartet of coaches whose combined experience spans pop, country, jazz-influenced standards, and hip-hop.
