Dancing with the Stars Season 22: Week 3 Power Rankings

PAIGE VANZANT, MARK BALLAS

Dancing with the Stars – Season 22 – Week Three Power List

Welcome to the third power list of Dancing with the Stars Season 22. After an emotional “Most Memorable Year” night, the judge scores produced few dramatic changes. Many couples remain clustered around similar totals, which makes the audience vote even more critical heading into next week’s elimination. A few front-runners are starting to separate themselves, but this season continues to look fiercely competitive. Below is a closer, week-by-week assessment of each couple’s standing and momentum.

10th – Doug & Karina (No Change)
DOUG FLUTIE, KARINA SMIRNOFF
Doug remains near the bottom this week. He’s a likable competitor with a strong work ethic and a moving personal story, but his waltz showed difficulty with balance and musicality—he almost fell twice and struggles to find precise beats. Those issues make most dances a challenge. His heartfelt memorable-year package could win sympathy votes, but technically he needs improvement to climb the leaderboard.

9th – Marla & Tony (No Change)
TONY DOVOLANI, MARLA MAPLES
Marla showed a surprising spark with her jive—high energy, strong kicks and flicks, and plenty of content. Tony gave her choreography that highlighted those strengths. Still, we’re approaching the stage of the competition where popularity and standout technical prowess become decisive. While this jive was a positive sign, Marla’s placement is still vulnerable compared to stronger or more popular competitors.

8th – Von & Witney (Previously 5th)
VON MILLER, WITNEY CARSON
Von slipped three spots after a contemporary that failed to impress. Witney carried much of the choreography; Von’s contributions focused more on lifts and athletic moments than expressive movement. He’s becoming less memorable in a field full of compelling personalities and technical performers. With several football players splitting a similar fan base, Von could face real danger if he doesn’t deliver a standout routine soon.

7th – Antonio & Sharna (Previously 8th)
ANTONIO BROWN, SHARNA BURGESS
Antonio moves up a spot after a solid week. His rehearsal package revealed a more relatable side—dancing with his son and sharing family moments—which likely resonated with viewers. The performance itself was respectable but not yet the breakout many expected. Judges have noted he’s not consistently meeting the high expectations set for him; whether that’s due to choreography, effort, or ability remains to be seen.

6th – Kim & Sasha (Previously 7th)
KIM FIELDS, SASHA FARBER
Kim climbs a notch after delivering a joyful routine that likely brought smiles to viewers. She continues to showcase a fresh, upbeat presence on the ballroom floor, and Sasha’s choreography complements her personality perfectly. Kim’s performance this week should buy her a couple of safe weeks and could allow her to build confidence and expand her range as the season progresses.

5th – Jodie & Keo (Previously 6th)
JODIE SWEETIN, KEO MOTSEPE
Jodie takes another step forward after her strongest routine yet. Keo created a nuanced fusion of contemporary and foxtrot that allowed Jodie to reveal a personal story with emotional clarity. The blend of styles worked in their favor, offering substance and a memorable moment for viewers. This performance could attract casual voters who respond to authentic storytelling combined with solid technique.

4th – Ginger & Val (No Change)
GINGER ZEE, VALENTIN CHMERKOVSKIY
Ginger holds steady in fourth with a dependable contemporary. Her relatable “everywoman” image—a working mother balancing career and family—helps her connect with a broad audience. Regular coverage on Good Morning America gives her a visibility advantage, and while she hasn’t yet delivered a truly spectacular routine this season, consistent performances and media presence keep her safe for now.

3rd – Paige & Mark (Previously 2nd)
PAIGE VANZANT, MARK BALLAS
Paige and Mark produced a striking, well-choreographed routine that played to her strengths. While one judge criticized the contemporary flavor of the choreography, many viewers likely saw strong paso doble elements and the intended battle-like energy. Paige benefits from bold, standout routines like this, and Mark continues to craft dances that give her maximum impact and voting visibility.

2nd – Nyle & Peta (Previously 3rd)
NYLE DIMARCO, PETA MURGATROYD
Nyle moves up after an impressive tango. He and Peta demonstrated strong hold, precise musicality, and on-the-beat intensity. Peta’s protective coaching helped highlight Nyle’s strengths without undermining his progress. Judges continue to scrutinize him—Len frequently offers pointed critiques—but Nyle’s overall improvement and consistent performances keep him firmly among the season’s top contenders.

1st – Wanya & Lindsay (No Change)
WANYA MORRIS, LINDSAY ARNOLD
Wanya remains in first place after yet another strong week. His performance—set to the National Anthem—was a crowd-pleaser, and the pair displayed solid technique and engaging presentation. Minor moments of hold were the only critique, and those are easily correctable with Lindsay’s guidance. For now, Wanya looks like a virtual lock for the finale based on his consistent excellence and audience appeal.

Do you agree with this week’s rankings? Is Wanya still the clear frontrunner, and are Nyle and Paige the current top trio to watch? Could Von be at serious risk of elimination? Has Doug shown enough to remain in the competition over someone like Marla? Share your thoughts in the comments, and remember that Dancing with the Stars airs live this Monday, April 11th at 8 PM Eastern with “Disney Night,” featuring guest judge Zendaya and the season’s third elimination.
