NBC Presents a Star-Powered Finale of The Voice with Performances by Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, Bruno Mars and The Killers

NBC has confirmed a marquee lineup for the live, two-hour finale of The Voice on Tuesday, December 18 (8–10 p.m. ET). The episode will feature performances from global superstars Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, Bruno Mars and The Killers, with the season’s new champion crowned during the broadcast. Producers have also indicated that additional surprise guest performers will be announced closer to the air date.

The show’s four musician coaches this season are Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.

On the finale night: Rihanna will perform her hit single “Diamonds,” Kelly Clarkson will sing “Catch My Breath” from her Greatest Hits collection, The Killers will perform “Runaways” and Bruno Mars will debut “When I Was Your Man” from his sophomore album Unorthodox Jukebox. Each artist brings recent chart success and critical acclaim to the live broadcast, promising a high-energy and memorable evening.

Rihanna arrives at the finale fresh off the success of Unapologetic, her seventh studio album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 — her first SoundScan-era album to reach the top spot. Her single “Diamonds” continued a run of chart dominance, becoming her 12th Hot 100 No. 1. Rihanna’s awards and milestones include multiple Grammys, MTV Video Music Awards, American Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards. She also commands significant social media reach and streaming numbers, reflecting her strong global presence.

Kelly Clarkson, who first rose to fame a decade earlier, brings a decade-long record of hits and industry recognition. With five studio albums to date and more than 20 million albums sold worldwide, Clarkson is a multiple award winner with two Grammys and numerous Billboard and American Music Awards among her honors. Her Greatest Hits – Chapter 1 compiles fan favorites and includes new material; her single “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” marked another chart-topping milestone in her career. Clarkson has also appeared as a mentor on other televised music series and recently contributed mentorship to Team Blake on The Voice.

Bruno Mars comes to The Voice with strong chart credentials and a string of hit singles. A multiple Grammy nominee, Mars has sold millions of singles worldwide and generated massive streaming numbers. His debut album Doo-Wops & Hooligans produced global hits like “Just the Way You Are” and “Grenade,” while his follow-up Unorthodox Jukebox has continued that success, earning praise for its stylistic range and songwriting. Mars’ recent single “Locked Out of Heaven” has further underscored his ability to deliver pop songs with broad appeal.

The Killers, a four-piece band from Las Vegas, will bring their distinctive rock sound to the finale. Formed in 2002, the band has released several acclaimed albums — including Hot Fuss, Sam’s Town and Day & Age — and has sold millions of albums worldwide. Their 2012 release, Battle Born, received favorable critical response and expanded the band’s catalogue of arena-ready songs. The Killers have a long history of high-profile television performances and festival headlining slots, making them a strong live presence for the finale.

The Voice finale is produced by One Three Media (a Hearst/Mark Burnett company), Talpa Media USA Inc. and Warner Horizon Television. The series was created by John de Mol, who executive-produces the program alongside Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Stijn Bakkers and Lee Metzger.

Fans can expect a mix of high-profile solo performances and surprise moments during the live broadcast, capped by the announcement of the season’s champion. With four major artists confirmed and additional guests to be revealed, the December 18 finale promises to be one of the season’s most talked-about television music events.
