Fantasia enrolls at Central State University
Fantasia Barrino, the acclaimed singer who rose to fame as a finalist on American Idol’s third season, has announced she is enrolling at Central State University. In a celebratory post, she wrote that she is “officially enrolled” and thanked those who helped accommodate her schedule. She offered special recognition to Sorors who connected her with staff at the university and teased the possibility of attending Homecoming in October. Central State University is a public historically Black college and university (HBCU) located in Ohio. Fantasia has indicated she plans to study business as she balances her continuing career in music with her academic goals.
