American Idol Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery heads out on the “Cab in a Solo” Tour
Celebrating a milestone 30th birthday and riding the momentum of his latest single “Cab in a Solo” — which earned the most first-week adds of his career at country radio (120) — Triple Tigers recording artist Scotty McCreery has announced a major headlining tour for 2024. The tour marks a new chapter for the North Carolina native, who has spent nearly half his life in the spotlight as a singer and songwriter.
The headlining run, officially named the Cab in a Solo Tour after his current single, will feature direct support from singer Anne Wilson, with Greylan James and Noah Hicks appearing as opening acts on select dates. Produced by Live Nation, the tour launches at Hobart Arena in Troy, Ohio on January 26, 2024, and will travel across the United States with stops in cities including Atlanta, Philadelphia and Boston, among others.
“I’m on the road year ‘round, but I always love putting together specific tours and I think next year’s Cab in a Solo Tour is going to be one of my favorites,” Scotty said of the announcement. “I’m happy to have Anne Wilson join us on the road — she’s a great singer. Depending on the city, either Greylan James or Noah Hicks will be opening the show and they’re both fantastic performers. And who knows, maybe I’ll share a few songs from my upcoming new album! I’m looking forward to it!”

Anne Wilson Fan Club presale opens Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 10:00 a.m. local time and continues through Thursday, Oct. 12 at 10:00 p.m. Finally, Noah Hicks Fan Club and Greylan James Fan Club presales begin Thursday, Oct. 12 at 10:00 a.m. local time and run through 10:00 p.m. that evening. Fans are encouraged to check presale windows and fan club registration requirements in advance to secure the best seats.
Scotty returns to the Grand Ole Opry stage
In addition to the tour, Scotty McCreery will perform at the Grand Ole Opry on December 3 as part of the “Opry Country Christmas” special. Tickets and event details are available at Opry.com. The Opry appearance is a seasonal highlight and a chance for fans to see Scotty perform holiday favorites as well as hits from his catalog.
Scotty’s 2023 calendar also includes a notable honor: he is one of six inductees named to the 2023 class of the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the Mooresville Performing Arts Center in Mooresville, North Carolina.
