FOX releases 2024–25 program slate, including The Masked Singer returning this fall
At its in-person Upfront Presentation in Manhattan on Monday, May 13, FOX Entertainment unveiled its programming slate for the 2024–2025 broadcast season to advertisers and media partners. The network’s fall lineup mixes returning franchises with new series, and it confirms that The Masked Singer will return to the Monday schedule in the fall as part of the Wednesday primetime block.
FOX’s announcement did not specify the judging panel or host for The Masked Singer season 12. Over the show’s run to date, Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, and Ken Jeong have been consistent members of the celebrity panel. Nicole Scherzinger has served as a judge in past seasons when available; on one occasion Rita Ora filled in while Scherzinger was performing in London’s West End. Nick Cannon has been the series’ host. The network has not yet confirmed whether the same lineup will return for the new season.
The Masked Singer season 11 is currently airing, with the finale scheduled for Wednesday, May 22 on FOX.

FOX has not yet announced the future of So You Think You Can Dance, which is currently in its 18th season on the network. Ratings for the current season have trended low, averaging under one million viewers per week, and the network has not communicated whether the show will be renewed or canceled. Viewers and industry watchers will be looking to upcoming announcements from FOX for definitive status updates.
Overall, FOX’s 2024–25 slate reflects a mix of established reality and scripted franchises alongside new series additions. The Wednesday night placement of The Masked Singer positions the series within a competitive entertainment block, and the network’s full-season strategy underscores a continued emphasis on event programming, sports, and franchise-driven unscripted content.
As FOX prepares to finalize promotional plans and talent lineups, further details about judges, hosts, and premiere dates are expected in the coming weeks. For now, fans can mark their calendars for The Masked Singer’s return in the fall and watch for updates about the finale of season 11 on May 22.
