In recent seasons, America’s Got Talent has tightened its format so that each act who reaches the finale typically performs three times: the initial audition, the live Qualifiers, and the finale. Auditions are filmed months in advance, giving early standouts time to refine their presentations before the live rounds. That usually explains why many acts show a clear improvement between their televised audition and their second appearance.
By contrast, finalists often have only a few weeks to prepare their closing performances. Acts that squeak into the finale late in the competition face an even tighter schedule and less rehearsal time. As a result, some final performances feel rushed or constrained, despite judges’ enthusiastic reactions. Still, a few finalists truly raised the bar this season—among them Ramadhani Brothers and Murmuration—both of whom delivered noticeably stronger performances in the finale and would be deserving winners.
