USA Network’s high-energy celebrity game show Barmageddon returns for a second season, premiering Monday, Nov. 13 at 11 p.m. ET/PT. The series blends barroom chaos, live music and celebrity competition, delivering an anything-can-happen viewing experience hosted at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red venue in Nashville.

Produced and fronted by an unlikely trio, Barmageddon mixes hospitality, hilarity and competitive spirit. Country star Blake Shelton and late-night personality Carson Daly both serve as executive producers and on-screen instigators — Blake brings live music and stage presence while Carson mans the bar and keeps the action moving. Wrestling Hall of Famer and television personality Nikki Garcia hosts, setting the stakes and refereeing the games with the authority and showmanship her background demands.

Barmageddon Season 2 Celebrity Competitors

Season two features an eclectic lineup of celebrities from music, film, comedy and sports. Each episode pairs two well-known competitors who face off across a rotating slate of outrageous bar games. This season’s matchups include:

Kelly Clarkson vs. Michelle Rodriguez
Gwen Stefani vs. Blake Shelton
David Arquette vs. Colbie Caillat
Jelly Roll vs. Gabriel Iglesias
Carly Pearce vs. Boyz II Men
Ice T vs. Blake Shelton
Rob Riggle vs. Chris Hardwick
Nikki Glaser vs. Al Madrigal
Bill Engvall vs. AJ McCarron
Lauren Alaina vs. Blake Shelton

With Carson behind the bar and Blake backed by his house band, the show encourages sing-alongs, banter and spontaneous performances between rounds. The celebrities reveal new sides of themselves as they play, trash-talk and sometimes collaborate onstage. Blake and Carson alternate between giving advice, cheering competitors on and good-naturedly heckling their friends — and they often jump in to demonstrate a skill or two.

Nikki Garcia brings a competitive edge shaped by her athletic background, raising the intensity as contestants tackle familiar bar games reimagined for television. Returning favorites include Air Cannon Cornhole, Keg Curling, Drunken Axe Hole and Sharts (“Shelton Darts”), all redesigned to be bigger, louder and more entertaining for a studio audience.

New bar games

Season two adds even more inventive contests to the roster to keep the competition fresh. New games such as Fool’s Ball, Tic Tac Throwdown and Talk Derby to Me expand the variety of physical challenge, strategy and comedic missteps that define the show. Each game is crafted to create memorable moments, viral-ready mishaps and emphatic victories.

The typical episode pits two celebrities against each other in five distinct games. Beyond bragging rights, each pair plays to earn a prize awarded to a viral Internet sensation they have selected to support. These online personalities—often catapulted into notoriety by a single wild clip—are brought into the spotlight as part of the prize packages. The format adds heart to the hijinks: celebrities compete not only for themselves but to reward someone who became famous overnight for an amusing or unfortunate viral moment.

When a competitor falls behind, they have a tactical gamble available: the Wheel of Redemption. Spinning the wheel offers a risky chance to even the score but can lead to hilarious consequences when fate doesn’t cooperate. The payoff structure balances showmanship and suspense; ultimately one celebrity leaves victorious while the other accepts the loss—and the public ribbing that comes with it.

Ice T stars in a Barmaggedon holiday special to air on NBC

Beyond the regular season, Blake Shelton has invited Ice T to compete in a holiday-themed special that premieres Monday, Dec. 4 at 10 p.m. on NBC before its run on USA Network. The special adapts Barmageddon’s signature large-scale game design to a festive setting, featuring holiday-themed contests like Merry Axe-Mas, Doodle All the Way, Little Drummer Boy (and Girl), Reindeer Games and Christmas Carol-okie. Expect the same mix of competitive spirit and tongue-in-cheek fun with a seasonal twist.

Outside the studio, Blake continues to grow his Ole Red brand in partnership with Ryman Hospitality Properties. At the time of this season’s rollout, Ole Red operates locations in Tishomingo, Oklahoma; Nashville, Tennessee; Gatlinburg, Tennessee; and Orlando, Florida, with a new venue planned for Las Vegas, Nevada. The bar’s energetic atmosphere provides the perfect backdrop for Barmageddon’s blend of performance, rivalry and audience participation.

Barmageddon is produced by White Label Productions and JLP Pictures for USA Network. Executive producers include Blake Shelton, Carson Daly, Lee Metzger and White Label’s Chris Wagner. The show’s mix of celebrity guests, inventive bar games and live-music energy aims to deliver a fresh staple for fans of celebrity competition and irreverent late-night entertainment.
