America’s Got Talent 2024 Semi-Final Top 12 compete for a spot in the final

America’s Got Talent adjusted its schedule this week to accommodate the U.S. presidential debate, pushing the semi-final performance episode to Wednesday, September 11. Twelve talented acts will perform live for viewers and the judges, but only six will advance to the season 19 finale. Also performing as part of this semi-final round are the live Golden Buzzer acts: AIRFOOTWORKS, Dee Dee Simon, Hakuna Matata Acrobats, and Sebastian & Sonia.

After Wednesday’s performances, America’s voting will determine which six acts move on. The results will be announced during Thursday’s results show on September 12 at 8 pm ET/PT, when the six advancing acts will be revealed and six others will be eliminated. The competition continues the following week, with ten finalists performing on Tuesday, September 17 at 8 pm ET/PT, and the AGT winner for season 19 will be crowned at the Grand Finale on Tuesday, September 24 at 9 pm ET/PT.

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT SEASON 19 SEMI-FINALISTS

Alex Sampson – Singer

Alex Sampson impressed judges and the live audience with original songs that evoke the classic sounds of the 1950s and 1960s, reminiscent of vintage musical theatre and retro pop. His warm vocal tone and nostalgic songwriting earned him praise and helped secure his place in the semi-finals.

Ashes & Arrows – Country trio

Hailing from Asheville, North Carolina, Ashes & Arrows brought original country songs like “Born to Love” and “Wild Horses.” The trio’s tight harmonies—from Ciaran McMeeken, Benjamin Voigt, and Jonathan Calhoun—won over the audience, even as the judges debated their potential. Their authentic country sound and stage presence made them a memorable entry.

Brent Street – Dance group – Howie Audition Golden Buzzer

Brent Street is a 31-member dance collective known for inventive choreography and striking use of props. Their large-scale routines and precision movement earned them Howie Mandel’s Golden Buzzer during auditions and set high expectations for their semi-final performance.

Kelsey Jane – Acrobat

Kelsey Jane balances a daytime career as a dentist with intensive acrobat training. Her daring aerial work and athleticism won audience votes to reach the semis, even as Simon Cowell questioned whether she might prefer the financial security of dentistry. Kelsey’s determination and skill give her a compelling underdog story.

Learnmore Jonasi – Comedian – Terry Audition Golden Buzzer

Originally from Chimanimani, Zimbabwe and now living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Learnmore Jonasi charmed the judges with observational humor about adjusting to life in a new country. His heartfelt, relatable storytelling and sharp comedic timing earned him Terry Crews’ Golden Buzzer at auditions, cementing him as a favorite in the comedy category.

Pranysqa Mishra – Kid singer – Heidi Audition Golden Buzzer

Nine-year-old Pranysqa delivered powerhouse vocal performances covering Tina Turner’s “River Deep, Mountain High” and Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball.” Her stage confidence and remarkable range for her age earned her Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer and a spot in the semis.

Fourteen-year-old Reid Wilson impressed with inventive song choices and mature vocal interpretations, including covers of Lesley Gore’s “You Don’t Own Me” and Ariana Grande’s “Almost Is Never Enough.” His audition performance earned Howie Mandel’s Golden Buzzer. Reid also follows a musical path in a family with ties to other talent shows; his older brother previously competed on The Voice.

By day Richard works as a janitor at an elementary school in Indiana, but on stage he commands attention with a powerful voice. His dramatic covers of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” and Michael Bolton’s “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You” made him an audience favorite and earned Heidi Klum’s support during auditions.

Roni Sagi & Rhythm – Dog act

Dog acts have a strong history on AGT, and Roni Sagi & Rhythm bring a distinctive twist: choreographed routines that combine obedience and dance-like movement. Their chemistry and training make their performances engaging family entertainment.
