Big Brother 18 Week 7 Power Rankings: Who’s on Top?

Tonight featured a live eviction episode of Big Brother 18. Read on for a recap of the eviction, the new Head of Household, and an updated look at the house dynamics and power rankings going into the week.

Eviction Result: In the sixth live eviction of the season, Da’Vonne was voted out of the Big Brother house by a 6–2 margin. After a lengthy Head of Household competition, Victor emerged as the new HoH. Below is a recap of how events led to Da’Vonne’s departure and a breakdown of the alliances and power rankings for Week 7.

Da’Vonne’s exit: Da’Vonne had been a target for several weeks, particularly from Paulie, Nicole, and Corey. With Tiffany and Frank already gone, her removal felt inevitable. Early in the game she played aggressively and drew attention, and that visibility only increased after Tiffany revealed details of Da’Vonne’s strategy before Tiffany was evicted. Although Paul initially had loyalty to Da’Vonne, he ultimately followed Paulie’s direction when Paul won HoH, nominating and voting in line with Paulie’s wishes. That decision sealed Da’Vonne’s fate this week.

Alliances and house dynamics: The house has coalesced around a clear divide: the men have mostly united, while the remaining women are fractured and scattered. Paulie and Paul maintain a strong partnership and have promised each other a Final Two, which has drawn other male Houseguests into their orbit. Victor has recent ties to Paul and Paulie and, after his Battle Back win, initially named Paulie as a potential target—but has since aligned more closely with the male bloc. On the opposite side, Zakiyah and Michelle remain aligned, Bridgette is playing a survival game on her own, and there are smaller pairs like Nicole/Corey and Natalie/James that influence decisions. Paulie has also been in a showmance with Zakiyah but has indicated he would not hesitate to evict her if it benefits his game, showing his primary loyalty is to Paul.

WEEK 7 POWER RANKINGS

1. VICTOR – As the current Head of Household, Victor controls nominations this week. He initially indicated Paulie would be his target, which would have been a strategic play, but he’s since drifted toward the male alliance and looks likely to support their agenda. Victor should take advantage of his safety and make moves that protect his long-term game, because he can’t compete in the next HoH and could be vulnerable during the upcoming double eviction.

2. PAUL – Paul remains centrally positioned. He’s close to Paulie and well-trusted by Victor as well. Paul is not an immediate target this week and appears poised to stay in the game through the mid-to-late stages, provided he does not draw fresh attention with aggressive moves.

3. PAULIE – Paulie is effectively running the house narrative again. Many Houseguests are deferring to him, which allows him to steer votes and strategy. If someone other than him had won HoH this week—particularly Natalie—Paulie might have been in trouble, but for now he continues to benefit from other players’ willingness to play his game.

4. JAMES – James is currently safe under the male protection strategy. He has not been proactive in forming independent plans recently; he voted out Frank and didn’t use his influence to save Da’Vonne, showing a tendency to go with the flow. If he wants to advance, he should start making clearer strategic choices.

5. COREY – Corey occupies a decent spot while the guys stick together, but his showmance with Nicole could make him a target later. For now he’s protected by male alliances, but a double eviction could place him at risk depending on how nominations fall and whether the duo draws attention.

6. NATALIE – Natalie remains on some players’ radars but is not at the top of most hit lists. Victor promised Natalie he wouldn’t nominate her this week after an extended HoH duel in which he outlasted her, so she has temporary safety. That said, she could still be used as a pawn if the Power of Veto is played.

7. BRIDGETTE – Bridgette is largely isolated and has lost strong allies. The male alliance views her as non-threatening and convenient as a pawn. If she keeps a low profile, Bridgette can survive the immediate week, but she is not in any long-term plans.

8. NICOLE – Nicole’s gameplay has disappointed some observers. Rather than building a stronger female alliance after past season lessons, she has frequently gone to the men with intel and aligned closely with Corey in a showmance, which increases her vulnerability. She risks being picked off once the guys decide it’s time to remove showmances.

9. ZAKIYAH – Zakiyah’s low-profile approach worked for a while, but she’s now a major target. Paulie and Paul have reportedly agreed that Zakiyah and Michelle should be nominated, and Victor seems likely to follow that plan. Despite the showmance signals with Paulie, she faces a real risk of eviction during the double eviction.

10. MICHELLE – Michelle and Zakiyah are in similar positions: both were blindsided by Da’Vonne’s eviction and now find themselves as the top female targets. Michelle has shown visible concern about the possibility of being nominated, and unless plans shift, either she or Zakiyah could be the first woman evicted in the upcoming double eviction.

Those are the current standings and likely scenarios after tonight’s eviction and Victor’s HoH victory. The house is trending toward male unity, and the upcoming double eviction will be critical—expect bold moves or decisive blindsides that could dramatically reshape the endgame.
