The 65th Annual Grammy Awards are broadcast live from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The main telecast airs on CBS and streams on Paramount+. Trevor Noah, the former host of The Daily Show, returns as the evening’s host, guiding viewers through performances, tributes and the presentation of major awards.

2023 Grammy Premiere Ceremony, Where Most Awards Are Presented

The majority of the more than 90 Grammy Awards are presented during the Premiere Ceremony. The ceremony begins at 3:30 pm ET / 12:30 pm PT at the Microsoft Theater and will be available to stream at live.grammy.com and on the official Grammy channels on YouTube. This earlier ceremony focuses on many of the genre, technical and specialty categories that make up the full Grammy ballot.

YouTube satirist Randy Rainbow hosts the Premiere Ceremony. Performers scheduled for the ceremony include Blind Boys of Alabama, La Marisoul of La Santa Cecilia, Arooj Aftab, Madison Cunningham, Samara Joy, Anoushka Shankar, Carlos Vives, Shoshana Bean, Maranda Curtis, Buddy Guy and Bob Mintzer. Presenters for the Premiere Ceremony include Judy Collins, Babyface, DOMi & JD BECK, Myles Frost, Arturo O’Farrill, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Amanda Gorman and Jimmy Jam.

Fans can also watch Grammy Live from the Red Carpet beginning at 6:30 pm ET / 3:30 pm PT via Grammy.com and the Grammys’ social channels, offering interviews, arrival moments and behind-the-scenes coverage ahead of the primetime broadcast.

Primetime 2023 Grammys Performers Include:

The primetime show features performances from many of the year’s most talked-about artists. Confirmed performers include Bad Bunny, Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Steve Lacy, Lizzo, Kim Petras, Sam Smith and Harry Styles. Motown icons Smokey Robinson and Stevie Wonder will join country star Chris Stapleton for a special collaborative performance. DJ Khaled and his collaborators—Fridayy, JAY-Z, John Legend, Lil Wayne and Rick Ross—are set to perform the Grammy-nominated track “God Did.”

In recognition of hip hop’s 50th anniversary, the show puts a spotlight on the genre with a multi-artist segment. That celebration will include performances from Big Boi; Busta Rhymes with Spliff Star; De La Soul; DJ Drama; DJ Jazzy Jeff; Missy Elliott; Future; GloRilla; Grandmaster Flash; Grandmaster Mele Mel & Scorpio/Ethiopian King; Ice-T; Lil Baby; Lil Wayne; The Lox; Method Man; Nelly; Public Enemy; Queen Latifah; Rahiem; Rakim; RUN-DMC; Salt-N-Pepa and Spinderella; Scarface; Swizz Beatz; and Too $hort.

LL COOL J will introduce the hip hop anniversary segment, perform and deliver a dedication to the culture. Questlove serves as producer and musical director for the celebration, with music provided by The Roots and narration by Black Thought.

The In Memoriam portion of the broadcast will honor artists who passed away over the past year. Scheduled tributes include Kacey Musgraves performing “Coal Miner’s Daughter” in remembrance of Loretta Lynn; Sheryl Crow, Mick Fleetwood and Bonnie Raitt joining to honor Christine McVie with “Songbird”; and Maverick City Music performing “Without You” with Quavo as a tribute to Takeoff. These performances are designed to celebrate the legacies and lasting influence of the artists being remembered.

2023 Grammy Awards Presenters Include:

A wide range of presenters from across entertainment and public life will join the show. Notable presenters include First Lady Jill Biden, Cardi B, James Corden, Billy Crystal, Viola Davis, Dwayne Johnson, Olivia Rodrigo and Shania Twain. These presenters will appear throughout the broadcast to introduce performances and hand out major awards.
