The episode opens with Vesi returning to camp after a tense tribal. Noelle thanks the group for keeping her in the game, and Cody admits it was brutal having to vote out Nneka. He bluntly ranks the tribe’s players, putting Vesi at the bottom and urging the group to start winning challenges to change the power dynamics.

Across camp on Baka, tensions simmer. Gabler irritates teammates by placing palm fronds on Sami and Elie while they sleep, claiming they’re meant to be blankets. Sami is rattled from being woken, and the next morning a spark between Elie and Gabler over starting a fire escalates. In confessional, Elie labels Gabler a liability whose behavior is hurting both camp life and their chances in the game. Gabler, for his part, resents Elie after she rifled through his bag and questions her trustworthiness.

Reward Challenge: Ten Fish on the Line

The reward challenge requires one tribe member to knock blocks with sandbags, then another to walk across two blocks to the end of a path, and finally three tribe members must each land a sandbag on a hanging disc. The first tribe finished earns ten fresh fish and the ability to steal an item from another tribe. Vesi gets an early lead when Cody performs well, and they sustain it through the challenge. Although Baka and Coco mount comebacks during the sandbag portion—Jeanine and Geo each landing shots—Dwight struggles before finally landing the decisive throw.

Vesi wins the reward. Back at camp, without fire to cook the fish, they ask Jeff Probst if they can trade the fish for a previously offered basket of fruit. The producers accommodate the swap, and the tribe celebrates a much-needed morale boost. As they enjoy the fruit, strategic discussions turn to the upcoming tribe raid. Cody pushes for an aggressive approach, while Noelle, Dwight, and Jesse argue for a more diplomatic, long-term plan.

Cody visits Coco to negotiate a steal. He initially wants the tribe’s machete, their most valuable tool, but Coco negotiates him away from that and instead parts with some fishing gear and limes. Karla later voices suspicion that Cody took more than he first claimed, reinforcing cracks in his trust with Coco.

Immunity Challenge: Puzzle and Strength

The immunity challenge combines heavy lifting and puzzle work. Competitors must topple sandbags to find keys that open bags of puzzle pieces, drag the pieces under a net, complete a square on the ground, carry the pieces up a cargo net, and then assemble them into a triangle on a platform. Baka takes an early lead by solving the square puzzle first. Coco trails but fights back during the triangle stage. Ultimately Vesi solves the final triangle first and secures immunity for their tribe.

With immunity secured, Vesi chooses to help Baka—still smarting from the tribe reshuffle—by explaining how to orient the pieces into a triangle. The tip proves decisive: Baka finishes and wins the second immunity spot. That result sends Coco to Tribal Council, making them the only tribe facing elimination that night.

Coco Camp: Alliances and Paranoia

Back at Coco, faction lines form quickly. Geo and Ryan present themselves as a duo and suggest Cassidy as the target. Unknown to them, James and Karla are aligned with Cassidy and have plans of their own; Cassidy and Lindsay actually want Geo out. While James and Karla agree to the plan to target Geo, Lindsay grows increasingly paranoid. She worries the plan is too straightforward and questions why anyone would still be scrambling if everything were settled. Karla and James attempt to soothe Lindsay, but her anxiety continues to undermine confidence in her as a reliable ally.

James worries Lindsay’s paranoia could cost them the vote, while Karla concedes Lindsay may be shooting herself in the foot. They debate whether to stick with Cassidy and James’s plan or pivot to remove a different perceived threat—Geo’s growing influence.

Tribal Council and the Vote

At Tribal Council, Jeff asks the tribe to reflect on the past nine days. Ryan touts the tribe’s sense of family and provisioning, James highlights that Geo and Ryan have been key providers, and Lindsay admits losing immunity was a wake-up call that led her to over-scrutinize others. Geo concedes he’s nervous but maintains he doesn’t care how the vote falls as long as he isn’t the target. Karla notes that discussions continued until the last minute and there are still many unanswered questions.

When the votes are read, the tally reveals a split: one vote for Cassidy, one for Geo, and three votes for Lindsay. Lindsay is voted out of Survivor 43 and becomes the fourth person eliminated this season.

This episode showcased shifting alliances, strategic calculation, and how quickly fortunes can reverse after a single challenge. Vesi’s double wins gave them breathing room, Baka managed to secure safety with a little help, and Coco’s internal fractures led to Lindsay’s exit. Stay tuned for the next episode to see how the remaining players adapt and regroup.
