Survivor Season 46 Week 10 Live Blog
A new episode of Survivor Season 46 airs tonight on CBS. Below is a live recap of the episode, covering camp dynamics, the reward and immunity challenges, strategic conversations, and tonight’s tribal council.
The episode opens with the tribe returning to camp after tribal council. Hunter has been voted out, idol in pocket, and Liz is upset that she was left out of the split-vote plan between Q and Hunter. She demands to know why she wasn’t informed and feels blindsided—especially since she has been trying to target Q. Venus tells Liz the decision was made only minutes before tribal, leaving Liz feeling foolish and frustrated.
Tiffany is relieved Hunter is gone, viewing him as a challenge threat, and continues to push to eliminate Q next. Tiffany compares Q to someone who flew too close to the sun. Maria, however, wants to try to pull Q back into her alliance. She seeks him out privately, acknowledging in confessional that Q is unpredictable but insisting there are bigger strategic targets. Q, aware he’s on the radar, avoids long camp conversations and says he intends to win immunity to secure his safety.
The next morning Kenzie, Maria, and Charlie discuss strategy. Kenzie reveals doubts about whether the plan to blindside Tiffany can still happen after yesterday’s chaos. Maria remains optimistic that with Q’s cooperation they could still execute the blindside. Kenzie explains she and Tiffany have played similarly and wants to differentiate herself, which is part of why she’s considering voting Tiffany out.
Reward challenge
The reward challenge requires castaways to race through obstacles, throw a sandbag through a net tunnel, retrieve one more sandbag, go under a net, and then land the bag on a high target. The winner receives an Applebee’s meal—something Liz notes is a regular Wednesday tradition with her daughter.
Q jumps into an early lead, with Tiffany close behind. They begin the final toss phase first, and although others catch up, Q ultimately lands his sandbag first. Q wins reward—an overnight stay at the sanctuary, and he must choose companions. He selects Tiffany first, surprising many given their earlier confrontation at tribal council. Tiffany agrees to go, hoping to use the time to cool things down and have a calmer conversation.
Pick one more person
Jeff gives Q the option to pick one more person. Liz pleads to be chosen, but Q instead picks Maria—who had checked on him earlier—and then selects Kenzie to “bring the family back together.” Liz erupts in anger, calling Q out for blowing up her game; she points out that she voted for him the night before. After a brief outburst and an apology, Liz composes herself as Q, Tiffany, Maria, and Kenzie leave for the reward.
Back at camp, Ben labels Q a villain for excluding Liz and suggests Q may be trying to rekindle his Yanu alliance, but Ben still hopes the group will vote Q out. On the reward, the four enjoy their meal and discuss Liz’s reaction. In confessional, Q explains his picks as strategic and says he doesn’t owe Liz anything. Kenzie admits the Applebee’s treat won’t erase earlier slights, and Maria concedes that while she trusts Q to some degree, he’s rubbed people the wrong way and could be a liability at the next tribal.
Talking game
When Q steps away for a walk, Kenzie and Tiffany talk strategy in front of Maria. Tiffany makes it clear she won’t change her plan just because Q is attempting an apology tour. Maria’s confessional reiterates her conflicted stance: she likes Q but recognizes he’s a polarizing player who might have to be voted out soon.
Back at camp the morning after the reward, Liz listens as the reward party recounts their meal. She apologizes to Q for her earlier outburst, though she later admits in confessional the apology was tactical—she still plans to vote him out. Q remains unapologetic, reiterating his decision to prioritize game moves over personal feelings.
Charlie and Maria discuss the upcoming votes. Maria reveals Q proposed a plan to target Venus next and then Liz, while Kenzie and Tiffany are plotting against Q. Charlie asks whether the Tiffany blindside is still feasible; Maria says it hinges on whether Q wins immunity. The camp’s main objective becomes ensuring Q does not secure immunity, while Charlie is also cautious about Tiffany winning.
Immunity challenge
The immunity challenge is an endurance test: contestants must hold a handle bearing 25% of their pre-game body weight as the bucket gradually lowers. Jeff offers rice as an incentive to sit out—four people can skip the challenge for rice, or one person can take rice alone. Kenzie and Liz initially volunteer, and Liz ultimately accepts the individual rice, sitting out while everyone else competes.
During the challenge, Venus and Ben are the first to drop, followed by Q. His bucket collapses amid reactions from the others. Kenzie and Maria fall soon after, leaving Tiffany and Charlie. Tiffany looks strong until her bucket unexpectedly gives way, leaving Charlie as the immunity winner.
Back at camp, Tiffany insists Q must go and believes everyone will vote him out that night. Kenzie wavers on the idea of blindsiding Tiffany but, after talking with Maria, leans away from that plan and toward voting Q out; she says she’s lost respect for him and wants him gone.
More game talk
Maria circles back to Q to float the idea that Tiffany could still be an option for tonight. Later she meets with Ben; they agree that removing Tiffany would neutralize a dangerous idol and be a strong strategic move. Maria, Charlie, and Ben tally four votes against Tiffany and consider whether to recruit Venus or Liz for a fifth vote. Maria asks Liz to join, arguing this is a rare chance to eliminate Tiffany. Liz is conflicted: she recognizes the magnitude of the move but wonders whether it would primarily benefit Maria in front of the jury. Her lingering anger at Q complicates the decision.
Tribal council
At tribal council Jeff Probst asks each player to account for where their game stands. He notes that recent eliminations have been blindsides and asks whether Q is at the center of tonight’s discussion. Q maintains he tends to keep to himself and only speaks when approached. Tiffany describes the atmosphere as calm and suggests Q has been more reflective. Kenzie calls Q a smokescreen at the last vote, but insists everyone is aligned tonight.
Discussion turns to the reward and Liz’s outburst. Liz tells Jeff she apologized to make things less awkward but confirms she cannot work with Q. Ben expresses fatigue with Q’s presence in the game. Several players note previous jury members were blindsided when they expected a different outcome, and Maria admits the idea of a blindside is tempting but says it won’t happen tonight. Q accepts that he could be sent home and says he was prepared for that possibility weeks ago. With that, Jeff calls for the vote.
The vote
No hidden immunity idols are played. The votes are read as follows: Q, Tiffany, Q, Q, Tiffany, Tiffany, Tiffany, Tiffany. When the tally is complete, Tiffany is the eleventh person voted out and the fourth member of the jury. The group blindsides Tiffany and Kenzie, who did not see the vote coming.
That concludes tonight’s episode of Survivor Season 46. Check back next week for another live recap covering the next episode’s challenges, strategies, and tribal council fallout.
